What types of personal data do we collect and why?
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data entered on the submitted form, as well as the visitor’s IP address in order to detect spam mail.
You can add to the Gravatar service an anonymous hash created from your email address (also called a hash) so that you see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the acceptance of your comment, your profile picture is shown to the public within the frame of your comment.
Contact forms
The basic data through a contact form. The personal data is stored for the period the business communication lasts.
Cookies for signing in and registration
If you have an account and you sign in to the website, we will set a temporary cookie in order to find out if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and gets deleted when you close the browser.
When you sign in, the system will add more cookies that will save the entered data. The sign-in cookies last for two days, while the cookies that record your selected options are active for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your application shall be active for two weeks. It you sign out of your account, the sign-in cookies shall be removed.

Who do we share your personal data with?
The website only shares data about your visit with the Google Analytics service, and it does not share any other data with any third parties except with the website administrator, which does not use this data. The administrator ensures the uninterrupted technical operation of the online stores. The website administrator is Arctur d.o.o.
How long is your data stored for?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored for an indefinite period of time. This enables us to automatically recognise and approve further comments instead of retaining them in a waiting line.
In term of users that sign in to our website, we store any personal data that they have in their user profile (if it exists). All users have the right to see, edit or delete their personal data at any time (although they cannot change their user names). Website administrators can access this personal data as well.
What rights do have concerning your data?
If you have an online account on this webpage, or if you have left any comments, you have the right to claim the exported personal data file that we keep, including the data you submitted to us. You also have the right to request that we delete all your personal data that we have. This does not include the data that we must store for administrative, legal or safety purposes.
How do we protect your data?
Your data is processed through a safe server that is hosted by a roaming provider Arctur. Neither we nor the roaming provider stores any of your personal data.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Users’ personal data is one of the areas which we pay particular care and attention to. We make sure that all requests are not only met, but even exceeded, as we aware of the sensitive nature of this subject.
In accordance with the Personal data protection act (ZVOOP-1-UPB1), the administrator/online store manager is obliged to protect the personal data of users.
The following user data is collected for business purposes:
- full name,
- street address and city,
- email address (your username),
- contact telephone number,
- password in encrypted form,
- and other data the users enter in the forms on the website.
We do not take responsibility for the accuracy of the entered data.
In order to provide online security the IP addresses from which users access the online store are also collected. At the beginning of the visit, each user receives a session cookie for identification and monitoring of a shopping basket. Other cookies can also be stored by maya.si on your computer, such as the user’s ID number in an encrypted form (for the recognition of the user on their next visit), ratings of items (so that you know which items you have already rated) and cookies used by the Google Analytics system (for analysis of website visits).
All the mentioned data, except the cookies, are permanently stored on the maya.si server. The session cookies are stored in the server’s memory only for the duration of the visit, and shall be deleted after one hour of inactivity, while the permanent cookies remain stored in the user’s computer or device.
The administrator may use this data in an anonymised summary format for purposes of statistical analysis. The user’s data will in no cases be transmitted to unauthorised persons. The supply service provider (e.g. Pošta Slovenije) shall only be given information about the user’s delivery address. The user will only be contacted by means of distance communication, unless the user explicitly objects to this.
Exceptional disclosure of personal data
The data collected and processed by MAYA TEAM d.o.o. will be disclosed only if such obligation is prescribed by law, or in good faith that such measures are necessary for proceedings before courts of law or other state bodies and for the protection and realisation of legitimate interests.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer or device when you visit our website. Cookies do not harm your hardware or software. Their storage is fully supervised by the user’s browser – users may restrict or disable the storing of cookies as they wish. The cookies are not harmful and are always time-limited.
In the European Union (EU), cookie use is regulated by the Directive on privacy and electronic communications 2002/58/EC. The article in the aforementioned directive pertaining to cookies and similar technology was later amended through Directive 136/2009.
In the Slovenian legal code, cookie use is regulated by the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia no. 109/2012), Article 157 of which provides a legal basis for protecting the privacy of Internet users.
Why are cookies necessary?
Cookies are essential for providing user-friendly online services. Thanks to cookies, interactions between web users and the website are faster and easier. They also enable the website to remember the user’s preferences and experiences, and therefore save time as well as make web browsing more efficient and enjoyable.
At the beginning of each use of the online store the website will send each user a cookie for purposes of identification, monitoring the contents of the shopping basket and ensuring traceability, which will be stored in the server’s memory only for the duration of the visit to the website, and will be deleted after one hour of inactivity. The retailer may also store various permanent cookies on the user’s personal computer or device, such as the user’s identification number in encrypted form for purposes of recognition upon the next visit to the online store, and indirectly also cookies from the external service Google Analytics, which are used for analysis of visits to the website. The owner of the website can use the data in anonymised summary format for the purpose of statistical analyses.
