Family rafting trips run from Kamno to Tolmin in the lower part of the Soča River, and contain sections with class I–II rapids (on a scale of I–VI). The classic rafting trip in the upper part of the Soča River takes you from the Boka Waterfall to the village of Trnovo ob Soči and has sections of class III to IV rapids. While prior rafting experience is not required, all participants of the classic Soča rafting trip should be able to swim well. Participants should also know that rafting is a sports activity where each member of the party has their own paddle, so they can work together in completing the trip. Before the Soča River rafting trip, all participants receive rafting equipment (a helmet, life jacket, neoprene suit and neoprene boots) that is suited to their height and weight.
Once the equipment has been distributed, the participants are transferred to the starting point, where they put on wetsuits, life jackets and helmets. The guide then explains the rafting safety rules and procedures, and you’re ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity for a dip in the beautiful Soča River. After a good hour and a half you’ll reach the exit point where our vans will be waiting for you along with your clothes. Once you’ve gotten dry and changed, we’ll take you back to our base in Labrca.
That's right, rafting on the most beautiful river in the world is definitely an activity that will inspire you. Going down the rapids with local-professional guides and swimming in the emerald Soča will enchant you and provide you with just the right dose of the adrenaline. Rafting is available daily at 9 am, 1 pm, or 4 pm between 15 March and 15 October. Welcome!
